Vitafort First Hungarian Feed Production and Distribution Zrt. is one of the most dominant feed companies in the Central European region and a leading company in the Hungarian animal feed market. In 2018 we produced 950 thousand tonnes of complete feed equivalents, which means that we coordinate more than 26% of the feed supply in Hungary.
 

We were the first among Hungarian feed producers and distributors to become a private limited company. Our ownership structure has been unchanged, with majority Hungarian ownership, backed by a strategic investor from France. The profile of the company group covers the entire spectrum of the feed production business. We are in a unique position, since our 5 production plants are located on one site, on our 11-hectare site in Dabas.

We respond to the challenges of animal feed production with innovation. Our company has been involved in innovative product developments for over a decade. We invest over 2% of our sales revenues in financing R&D projects. We have successfully applied for, and received, grants which significantly broadened our product development capabilities.
