FEED SAFETY FOR FOOD SAFETY

The key to market success is to produce high quality feeds. Vitafort Zrt. produces over 900 tonnes of feed mix equivalents per year, which is 25% of the Hungarian animal feed market. We have 5 production plants on our 11-hectare site in Dabas. The primary goal of feed production is to provide products which are best suited for the biological characteristics of the animals and contain the best possible proportions of nutrients and active ingredients for the optimal care of the animals, in a balanced distribution even in the smallest of doses. The maintenance, operation and monitoring of safe production requires complex, continuous and consistent efforts and attention.  The high quality of our products is guaranteed by verified quality raw materials, the use of mix formulas compiled according to professional standards, strict technological criteria and a sophisticated technical background.

We treat the modernisation of our production facilities and equipment as a priority. We have been carrying our continuous technological developments and investments since the foundation of the company. Our operational efficiency is further enhanced by the ERP system, introduced this year.

Part of this ERP system is the automated control of our plants, linking the various elements of the production process and ensuring failsafe operation. We use a barcode system for easy identification and traceability. We continuously test the raw materials and the end products to guarantee the best quality. Silo-filling, preparation, weighing, as well as the handling of premixes and semi-finished products are all barcode-controlled. By being able to identify the finished products we can ensure the absolute safe handling of several hundred products in our ready-for-sale inventory. In addition, they are fully traceable and retrievable in every phase of the production process. The final elements of production are our modern bagging and pelleting lines.

PREMIX FACTORY

 

Production of standardised premixes, premixes and supplementary feeds (0.5-6 %), different vitamin and micro-element premixes. Production is fully automated and computercontrolled, and is integrated into the company management system.

• 44 component tanks: 600-4,000 litres

CONCENTRATE AND COMPLETE FEED MILL
 

 

Production of concentrates and complete feed, mash, pellet and crumble products.

The fully automated machine line, computer process management system and automated technology ensure product safety to European standards.
